NVAL is pleased to announce that our 2025 nonprofit luncheon beneficiary is the Meals on Wheels Arlington. All profits from our 57th annual Holiday Luncheon will be donated to Meals on Wheels Arlington to fund the cost of meals for homebound and food-insecure people in Arlington. Meals on Wheels Arlington is affiliated with Meals on Wheels America, but does not receive any funding from them. In 2024, 139 volunteers delivered 93,000 meals to 290 clients in every Arlington zip code. The local nonprofit's overhead and administrative costs are less than 1% of their annual budget.
Meals on Wheels Arlington is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to nourish and empower homebound individuals in Arlington by providing wholesome, prepared meals with compassion and care. Through dedicated volunteers and community partnerships, they strive to enhance the well-being and dignity of those they serve, fostering a sense of belonging and support for all.
